2010
Foundation of Doverenniy Sovetnik law firm. The main practical focus is on tax consulting, restructuring and asset protection services.
2012
Opening of the office in Saint-Petersburg under the leadership of partner Natalia Ryasina – the firm became the federal law firm. Alexander Filimonov joined the team, leading Corporate & M&A practice.
2013
The first recognition of the company by the professional international rating IFLR1000 in the field of Corporate & M&A. The firm acquires the status of a law office and changes its name to DS Law.
2014
For the first time, the firm was awarded the Corporate & M&A category in the Chambers Europe legal ranking. Since then, DS Law has been ranked among the best legal consultants in the field of Corporate law and transaction support by Chambers Europe and IFLR1000 every year.
2015
The company was headed by one of its founders, Oleg Ponamarev, as a managing partner. Denis Belyaev joined the DS Law team as a partner, leading a new practice of providing services to fast-growing technology companies.
2016
DS Law was first recognized as one of the best Russian law firms in the Venture Capital and M&A market by the PREQVECA specialized ranking. Partner Maria Kalinina joined the DS Law team and headed the dispute resolution practice.
2017
The rebranding was made and a new development vector was chosen – comprehensive legal support for technology businesses and digital economy entities. The company's name becomes of a new meaning – Digital & Smart. The company is moving from the historical center of Moscow to the business center of Moscow City.
2018
DS Law has been recognized as the best Russian law firm in the field of Venture Capital transactions support by PREQVECA for the first time. Since then, the firm has maintained its position as the best law firm in this field. This year three partners of DS Law receive recognition from their colleagues in Best Lawyers for the first time.
2019
Partner Inessa Silyuk joins DS Law, significantly enhancing the firm's expertise in tax consulting and tax dispute resolution. Five partners of DS Law receive recognition from colleagues in their respective industries in Best Lawyers.
2020
DS Law is strengthening its position in the Corporate law, Intellectual property and TMT ratings. For the third year in a row, PREQVECA recognizes DS Law as the best Russian law firm in the Venture Capital market.
